Crystal’s the Booth, Dan’s the Curtis. We’re a real-life couple from right here in County Durham (grew up in Stanley and Peterlee respectively) and we’re a pair of (if we do say ourselves) quite good wedding photographers too!

Well, not many can claim to be a real couple team with 14 years under their belts! We’re also well known for our faff-free, laid back approach. One couple - the lovely Rayner and James in that photo on the swing - even wanted to (in their own words) adopt us after their wedding day.

We always say absolutely every wedding is different, so that’s why we offer two packages to cater for all tastes.

We’ll cover all of the angles thanks to both of us being there. No matter how hard someone tries, they can’t be in two places at once. Since we’ve been together for so long too, we work seamlessly as a team, capturing photos like the photography ninjas we are.
Two Awesome Photographers as Standard
Shhh, big secret from the wedding photography community incoming: the reason those photos look so great is they’ve been professionally edited to really make them pop. Once we’ve captured your day we’ll painstakingly look through every photo, choose the best ones and professionally edit them in our signature style.
A Bit of Extra *ZING* For Your Photos
Once we’ve sorted all your photos, we’ll pack them onto a USB stick and pop it in a beautiful keepsake box to send off to you. We don’t like to show these off on our site as it ruins the surprise after your wedding, but our clients always love receiving them!
Custom-Made Keepsake Box & USB
Weddings are stressful enough without sergeant major photographers ordering people about! That’s definitely not us, we’ll laugh with you, we’ll help you get in your dress (that honestly does happen!) and you’ll want to either give us a high five or hug at the end of the night. We’re not fussy, we’ll take either.
Laid-Back, Easy-Going and Faff-Free Photography Folk
Nothing can be worse than two random strangers showing up on your wedding day and shoving a camera in your face! We always like to get to know our clients ahead of the wedding, so we’ll organise an in-person meetup in real-life, or organise a chat via Zoom. If you really want to get to know us, you can also book in a pre-wedding shoot too!

We are totally up-front and honest about what we charge. As every wedding’s different, we offer both half-day and full-day packages, or you can add on some extra hours to the half day if that’s not enough!

About Us
If you’re looking for a completely relaxed wedding photography experience, trust us – we’re the ones for the job!
We’re a down-to-earth, relaxed and faff-free couple from right here in the North East, and since we’ve been together for over a decade, we work pretty damn well together too!
There’s a few things you can probably expect from us on your wedding day:
Jazzy Attire – Crystal loves her a pair of eye-catching dungarees, while Dan loves an equally jazzy shirt.
Loads of photos! - We capture literally everything from bridal prep, groom prep, the ceremony, after the ceremony, a few posed shots in a cool location in the venue, the after party and absolutely everything that happens in between from dad dancing with a tie around the head to tender moments between family members.
We’ll muck in and help out - Need tables moving or your dress zipping up? No problem at all – we’re basically part of the wedding party at this point and we’re always happy to make your day go as smoothly as possible.
