North East Wedding Photography FAQs
If there’s one thing you should be looking for when choosing your wedding photographer or pet photographer in the North East, it should be someone you can trust.
At Booth & Curtis Photography, we really do care about every one of our clients. Anyone could say that on their website, but we’re a real-life, down-to-earth couple who takes great pride in their work and ensuring you get exactly what you need.
We’re also completely sure you’ve got questions about us and what we do. That’s only natural - you’re about to take the plunge on someone you don’t really know, and making sure they’re the right fit for you is essential.
So, here’s answers to a few of the most frequently asked questions we receive:

Absolutely! Booth & Curtis were together long before the photography came along. We met at university 2009 and we’ve been together ever since. We even recently got married on Halloween 2024! A shared love of all things photos brought us to this point.

We are based in Coxhoe, County Durham. We cover the entire North East (and beyond if needed!). With that in mind…

Of course! You need to know if our personality and style gels with yours, and there’s no better way to do that, than to have a chat directly before you go ahead. We can do this virtually via Zoom before you book. If you’ve already booked with us, we’ll be arranging a meeting to discuss exactly what you want on your big day and going through your contract (don’t worry it’s not that scary!).

100%. We have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

They’re us! Crystal and Dan work together at your photoshoot, which allows us to cover multiple angles at the same time (something you just won’t get with a single photographer!). We don’t use any other photographers apart from us.

We are modern and creative photographers who adapt our style to your needs. So if you’re looking for your traditional posed photos at a wedding, or a more candid approach (documentary style photography) where you don’t know we’re there, we can do absolutely whatever you need.

At the time of booking, we always take a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. For weddings, this is £200 for our half-day package or £300 for our full-day package For dog photography, we expect full payment at the time of booking.
The rest of the balance for your wedding photography must be with us no later than 7 days before your wedding date.
Please note that we will not release photos until we have received your full payment.

Yes, we do! These are a great way for you to get to know us before your wedding even happens, and they’re included with our top package, Meow & Furever, which also includes a full day coverage of your wedding.

Our three wedding packages cover half-day and full-day wedding shoots, but if you need us for extra time on top of these, we’re willing to help out!
